Jennifer, the designer behind Penelope Handmade, named the company for her great-grandmother, Penelope Eleanor (who was most commonly called, Mama Nell) and creates patterns to inspire you to create your very own heirlooms, building your own legacy of beauty and comfort. Mama Nell was a seamstress and would sew for Jennifer's mother, "a dress before she woke up in the morning." She passed that love of creating and making on to Jennifer's grandmother, Elma Ruth, and her mother.  "It is a legacy I hope will live on in my daughter, Eleanor Ruth."

Bowtie blocks, but make them big! This fun and fast pattern works for larger scale prints or as a classic two-color design! Fabric requirements included in photos. You may sell items made with this pattern on a small scale, but please credit Penelope Handmade.
