Learn to Sew Series: Learn to sew and build a "me made" wardrobe one garment at a time! Let us guide you through new and exciting techniques while you make special and unique clothing for yourself.
You will complete a simple but stylish box top for complete beginners to the seasoned sewist. This could be your first garment or first sewing project.
The Strata Top by Sew Liberated is designed to be both a practice of meditation and a canvas for artistic inspiration. It is simple in its construction – only three pattern pieces – easy to fit, and effortless to wear. This timeless, foundational sewing pattern comes together quickly, is thoughtfully written, and is FUN to sew from start to finish. The pattern was designed so a complete beginner can use it to make their very first garment or so a seasoned sewist can whip it up quick and have a great time in the process. This pattern is for everyone!

- Please bring an appropriate quantity of top-weight garment fabric - see attached charts. Laundered and ironed prior to class!

Prior to class you MUST precut your pattern. That will require coming to the shop to meet with Siri, pick up the pattern and cut your pre-laundered and ironed fabric. We are offering 20 minute cutting sessions during Friday Help Sessions from 1-3 PM. We are also able to schedule other times with advance notice. Once you have purchased the class, please email hello@hacersantafe.com to schedule.
When scheduling, please only purchase for 1 student at a time. Sorry for this odd quirk of the system! Classes are available for adults and teens 14 years and older.
