Have you always wanted to sew a quilt, but didn't know where to start? This class is for you!

Students will be guided through piecing, quilting, and binding a four-patch quilt block.

Level: Advanced Beginner (You can sew a straight line on a machine.)

Pre-requisite: Intro to Sewing or familiarity with sewing basics.

What you will learn:

• how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and change a needle
• how to measure and cut fabric
• how to piece a quilt block
• how to make a quilt sandwich
• how to quilt
• how to sew a binding

Materials: We offer 15% off supplies for classes at Hacer!

Please bring 2-3 contrasting color 1/4 yards (or the equivalent scraps) of quilting cotton, and an additional 1/4 yard for backing.

We provide: thread, machines, instruction and a 10x10' square of cotton batting.
