Jennifer, the designer behind Penelope Handmade, named the company for her great-grandmother, Penelope Eleanor (who was most commonly called, Mama Nell) and creates patterns to inspire you to create your very own heirlooms, building your own legacy of beauty and comfort. Mama Nell was a seamstress and would sew for Jennifer's mother, "a dress before she woke up in the morning." She passed that love of creating and making on to Jennifer's grandmother, Elma Ruth, and her mother.  "It is a legacy I hope will live on in my daughter, Eleanor Ruth."

Archie is a combination of a mix and match Bear Paw block and a chain block. Instructions are also included for keeping the Bear Paw blocks the same fabric and a 2 color version.  Fabric requirements are included in photos. You may sell items made with this pattern on a small scale, but please credit Penelope Handmade.
