Pyramid Dyeworks is a natural dye studio based outside of Taos, NM. Traditional and local dyestuffs are used to bring historic color to today, with a modern sensibility of tonal and variegated colorways. Sustainability and a light footprint are at the forefront of Pyramid Dyeworks. Rainwater catchment is used for the dye pots and the dye garden itself is watered by the rinse water from the yarn. Yarn bases used are grown and spun in the United States and dye plants are grown or locally foraged whenever possible.

US Sock Yarn is a blend of 90% superwash American Targhee wool and 10%Nylon. This sturdy American sock yarn is a pleasure to work with and comes in a variety of beautiful natural hues.
