Me Made Wardrobe Series: Build your "me made" wardrobe one garment at a time! Let us guide you through new and exciting techniques while you make special and unique clothing for yourself.

Our third garment in the series is The Lane Pants, an elastic waist, wide leg pants with optional cargo pockets and waist tie. Suitable for confident beginners. PDF sewing pattern by Syd Graham Sewing. Once you book the class, we will send you the pattern to prep for class.

This class is split over two weekends. Participants should print, assemble, and cut the pattern prior to the first class. You may book the classroom to use our cutting table if you like. Contact us during business hours by phone: 505-644-YARN (9276) to book.

The Lane Pants are high-waisted, with a comfortably wide leg and buildable elements to help you customize your dream pair of pants. Pick and choose cargo pockets, a drawstring, or opt to keep it simple. Depending on what design elements you like and fabric you choose, you could create anything from linen trousers to pajama bottoms to structured cargo pants and beyond.

Materials: For this pattern, you can use a large variety of fabrics depending on your desired outcome. Our favorites are generally cottons or linens, between 3-9 oz per square yard.

Body Measurements: See Chart

This garment is designed to have a very relaxed fit throughout the hips and crotch, while being snug around the waist. If you prefer a slimmer fit, we recommend sizing down.

We recommend choosing the size or sizes that are closest to your waist and hip measurements. If those measurements do not correlate to one size, no worries! Consider grading between sizes by simply drawing a new line between the waist and hip measurement of the two sizes.

If your waist measurement falls in between two sizes, choose the larger size. You can always trim down the elastic before inserting it into the waistband to get your preferred fit.
